You Have The Right to a Safe Workplace
CBC has a mandate to create a safe workplace for all its employees. If you as a Temp are exposed to anything that makes you feel unsafe, here are your options for getting help.
If you experience discrimination in the workplace, we have a special reporting process that is administered for the CBC by a third party. You can get more information about it here.
You can now report any discrimination covered by the Canadian Human Rights Act: race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics or disability
The office of the Values and Ethics Commissioner provides advice and handles complaints related to the Code of Conduct. It also provides mediation services to provide a resolution to code of conduct violations. You can get all the information here.
