Temps -13 can toggle on and off benefits depending on your status. In Workday, you can click on your benefits to see the end date for your benefits eligibility. It is best to check your eligibility before booking any health appointments to make sure you are covered. If you want to check to make sure you are covered for benefits, look at your last pay statement in Workday. If there is a deduction for benefits, then you are covered for the next 2 pay periods.
For Temps -13, to track your hours of work needed to qualify for benefits, download this google spreadsheet. It will help you calculate your total hours of work each week. If you work 50% of the hours for your role for 13 consecutive weeks you will qualify for benefits. After that, to maintain the benefit, you have to work for 50% of the hours for your role in each 2 week pay period.
