Temp Database

Temp Database

Temps can create a profile on the Temp Database by filling out the form 👇

Hiring managers  can request access the Temp Database by sending an email to Temp-Project@cbc.ca .

HOW IT WORKS

The Temp Database is a searchable tool that leaders who hire Temps can find candidates to fill urgent or upcoming backfill needs they may have.  It is also a place where talent acquisition reps and leaders can short list candidates to encourage them apply for permanent positions.

We are encouraging Temps at the CBC and other experienced journalists to upload a profile here so that you can showcase your skills and experience.

When you sign up using the google form (on the blue bar to the left)  you will be sent a copy of your responses and a URL which you can use to update your information as it changes. Save that URL for accessing your profile at any time. Additionally, you will be getting an email prompt every couple of weeks to review and update your profile details. In particular, we need you to keep your availability to work as current as possible.  This way managers are not wasting time trying to reach you when you are not available.

If you have no updates, it is strongly recommended you still resubmit your profile by scrolling to the bottom of your form and hitting the green submit button because this creates an updated timestamp for your profile.

Failure to update your information means your profile is inactive and will be removed after we make several attempts to reach to you.

If you are no longer actively seeking work at CBC News, please email Temp-Project@cbc.ca to be removed from the database.
